I met you in the park last week and i think you and i are getting along well. but unfortunately, we are saying goodbye. Always remember that dyslexia is not bad. i think i have learned from you more than i have ever learned before, you are an honest friend to me and you will never say no unless its super bad. but i think if we ever meet again, you will be a superstar at whatever you wanna do. Me and you are super simular, we love to draw, and our names are both Ally. i learned that you never say never in whatever you`re going at, and i feel sorry of what you have been going through before we met. Keisha and Albert seem really nice, you should stick with them while i`m gone. and since we`ve met i always make mind movies of whatever is weird and i try to look deeper in things when im trying to figure out something. You ally is one smart cookie! I have experienced simular challenges that you`ve had to come across. i like that you gave your flowers to keisha when she lost hers, and i like that you apologized to Albert after you made fun of him. That is why i made friends with you Ally, not of your popularity after Shay, for your kindness and generosity.
Thank you Ally, for everything.
Ally goes up and down many times in her life with Shay. But there are many main events in this book that are the most important.
At the start of the book, Ally gets introduced. The main thing i remember about the start is Ally giving Mrs. Silver a sympathy card thinking it is a nice card with flowers all over it and bright colors... But of course, Mrs. Silver knew what sympathy meant and she was not happy.
And then I remember when Ally`s class was going to an assembly. The girls had to bring flowers. But when Keisha accidentally touched one of the flowers and the flower broke and fell to the ground... The teacher got all mad at Keisha and told her she could not bring ANY flowers. But then Ally felt super bad and she gave some of her flowers to keisha..... Then neither of them had flowers.
Then, of course, i remember that Mr. Daniels comes into the picture :) And he seemed really really nice. But Ally was expecting an old man.
One day, Ally meets Albert. And sadly, it was not a good meet. Shay and Jessica invites Ally to sit with them, but the fact that Albert was sitting right next to them, was not good. Shay and Jessica start making fun of Albert because of his smarts. But Ally, accidentally joins in with the bullying and makes fun of Albert too :((( though, Ally then says sorry to Albert for making fun of him :)))
After all that fun stuff, Ally gets voted as class president O.O :OOOO of course, Shay ain`t so happy :/
Then the 180d turn. Ally gets happier. she gets less picked on and guess what Shay probably has no friends now. but Ally weirdly feels sorry for Shay now.
i would like to end this novel with Ally being able to read and being very popular with Shay saying sorry to her. and Jessica leaving Shay and being friends with Ally, Keshia and Albert. That would definitely be very nice, but also Ally with no dyslexia. And her father comes back alive. Trevis will hopefully have a better life and a better new car, not saying its bad of course, just you know, needs a little more upgrades. Am I right?
If I can have lunch with any character it would be:
I would sit with Ally because it would be funny to sit with someone who has the same name as me. Also, I would like to get to know her and probably make friends with her! Because she is a lot like me.
I'm a fish in a tree because:
At my old school, everyone thought I was not a good friend and I would always stick with one person everyday. And everyone would never agree with me or even talk to me... I was not a smart kid in my old school because I got C- C+ C or B's. My only interest was into drawing. Yep :T
Ok, so... THIS BOOKY IS AMAZING SO FAR!!!!! YEEEEEEEEE!!!! Okay calm down... everything is ALL RIGHT just ALL RIGHT!!! ok..... yep.... so as i said this book is pretty good... ._. so anyways, its sad so far I mean... for Ally.
welp. this is related to me because first of all i did go to the office only once in grade 3 and people did pick on me... alot actually.. like, "Your fat" or "No one loves you" or they would laugh at me... there were 2 girls in my class and they were really annoying. they kept saying things to make me mad. so.... everything at my old school sucked... just because of the kids that were there. i did have a few friends and stuff but not many...
So yeah!!!!! This book really relates to me and it is really good so far, good writing, good characters and stuff so yeah. O.o
