Detailed summary of TSB part 1:
He hated life, and everything around it. Everything in his mind was stupid and selfishness. All he wanted was people to fear him. Circle justice is when Cole doesn't except where he's in. And they talk about why Cole is there. The Spirit bear is a spiritual rare bear that no one ever sees. He had a choice between prison or on the island with circle justice. and Cole figured out Nature is beautiful and amazing.
Cole got sent to prison for Mentally hurting Peter. He had a choice between Circle Justice or Prison. He chose Circle Justice. When he was sent to the island He met the spirit bear and threatened to kill it. a while later Cole was sure he was ready to kill the spirit bear. but when he was ready, the spirit bear beaten him up and left him senseless on the ground. Cole was afraid and wanted to die. But when he realized how beautiful earth was he quickly chose that he wanted to live and to not give up. Cole started worrying about dead birds and the trees surrounding him. When Cole was close to death, Garvey came and took Cole and sent him away to get him fixed up, because he was pretty beat up, and when i mean pretty, i mean harsh. he had like a broken arm and a broken leg and a screwed up chest. Now all he wanted was to go home.
i liked the book, the book was great. i understood the whole story and everything in it. but what really confuses me is why do they need a Circle Justice? is it like a spiritual thing? i don't get it.Sure, Cole gets to see some peeps but does he really need to go there? All they talk about is "Cole Did this" and "Cole did that" it confuses me a lot. All i want is good information on my is there a Circle Justice!! that's all i need! yes what i wrote down is not exactly what you requested but this is all true questions i want answers from. sure, you can punish me for not doing it properly but all i want are answers. answers from aboriginals! answers from you! answers from the author! why did he decide to write this book why? Why the Spirit bear? Why Cole? What's the moral of this story? all i know is, oh, Cole is sucking life into him by a bear who almost killed him. is the moral of the story about to trust your heart? to never do bad things? don't be a junky? i don't know! and plus, if this book was so gory anyways, why would we even read it? isn't Gore a school rule? No gore aloud? Oh my lord i have so many questions. How does this relate to the author anyway? is it because he owns a bear? is that it?? wow. maybe it just popped into his head all of a sudden. is it a he?
Your honor, what have we done? We're all confused so much. Do you think what we're choosing is really worth it?? Yes. I agree that Cole SHOULD stay on the island, but for peter...? I'm not sure if he should stay at the school he's at now. It's just going to tear him down. He could make new friends and not worry about anyone making fun of him or beat him up again. I'm pretty sure Peter's parents are capable of paying for a new school. they have money right? like. seriously.
